Wooden cabinet features Museum Grade FlipBook, measuring 12"x 7" x7” and features a machined spindle assembly. Flip Cards printed on canvas, hand assembled and mounted on stainless steel posts.

Each art piece has a gear motor, timing, and/or position sensing circuitry, and self illumination wiring.

Programming and action of the animations was achieved with a Micro controller with motor and LED drivers, along with crank and position sensing inputs.

Precision-machined stainless steel & aluminum 32-frame-spindle, laminated canvas pages, electronically-timed push-button activation, gear motor, internal illumination, lacquered maple cabinet, and plated & numbered (battery powered).

“Carousel”

Motorized movie machines with "black-light" illumination, featuring creatures from Tim Burton's "Carousel" and exhibited at the "Lost Vegas" exhibit at The Neon Museum, Los Vegas. Special animations were created using Tim Burton's hand drawn character's, with the final flip cards printed in UV reactive inks.
The desktop display is activated by pressing a "monster-eye" pushbutton or a toggle switch. UV LED's are tucked inside the creature's gaping jaws, with Tim's signature spirals on the turning pulleys. Flipping action driven by a gear motor and powered by 3x AA batteries.
Hand crafted lacquered maple base, plated and numbered.
